2009 Youth Hunt & Regular Gun Season
For whatever reason no deer were hit by us in 2009. Deer were shot at, but none were hit. We went up for the youth season and for the regular gun season. Here are some shots to prove we were there...
2008 Youth Hunt

Cameron & Andrew also participated in this hunt. Ryan was unable too, instead he was forced to go to Springfield on a school field trip. Neither boy hit anything they shot at, which wasn't much. The temperatures this weekend were in the low-70's and not the best for moving deer around.
2007 Youth Hunt
Ryan was the first in the household to pick up a rifle and fire it at live game. During the 2007 Youth Hunt he sat with Uncle Peter and harvested an 8-point buck with his first ever shot. They were sitting up against the large metal farm building just north of the Warner's farm residence. Here you see this deer, which Ryan has since named 'Sniffles', disregard the date on the top photo... 
They brought the deer back down to Pete's to first carve out the meat before taking to the processor and then taking the head to Brian the Taxidermist for mounting. Ryan received his mount 23 months later.
